Dedicated to the memory of Jack Fitzsimmons
Jack was born in Belfast on October 06, 1930, and died at the Ulster Hospital on 27 April 2020. He served as a police officer for 30 years, receiving their highest honour, the Queen's Police Medal. Jack was an avid golfer at Hollywood Golf Club. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Helen. Father to Colin, Sharon and David, grandfather to John, Annie, Conor, Susanna, Steve and Lisa, he will be much missed by all his family and many friends. Due to the current Covid crisis, Jack will be cremated privately and his memorial will take place when friends and family can travel and unite. Details will be announced on this site and in the Belfast telegraph as soon as possible.

Jackie, it's almost a month since you passed away and it's hard to believe you're not here any more. You've been in my life from I was a child and you were not only my Brother in Law, you were my very dear friend. You were always there if I needed anything and I really appreciated that.
